We make one thing, and we have made it for forty years. 四十年，我们只做一件事。

Dalian Guangda Food Co., Ltd. was founded in 1986. Our kimchi follows the seasoning of Korean-Chinese families in Dalian — cabbage salted by hand, layered leaf by leaf, left to ferment at its own pace. 大连光大食品有限公司成立于 1986 年。我们的辣白菜承袭大连朝鲜族家庭的调味方式——手工盐渍白菜，逐叶铺陈，静待自然发酵。

Nothing is rushed and nothing is hidden. No artificial colours, no shortcuts — only cabbage, chilli, garlic, ginger and time. 不赶时间，也不藏秘密。无人工色素，不走捷径——只有白菜、辣椒、蒜、姜，和时间。

The craft is older than the company. 手艺比公司更久远。

Kimchi came to Dalian with Korean-Chinese families, and stayed. In 2020 the city entered this kimchi-making craft on its heritage register; since 2018 we have hosted the Dalian Kimchi Culture Festival — seven editions of tasting, teaching and passing it on. 辣白菜随朝鲜族家庭来到大连，并在此扎根。2020 年，这项辣白菜制作技艺被列入大连市非物质文化遗产名录；自 2018 年起，我们连续举办大连市朝鲜族泡菜文化节，至今七届——品味、传授、传承。
